What Do You Most Strive For In Your Life: Accomplishment, Security, Love, Power, Knowledge, or Something Else?

It's Totally Truthful, Tell It Like It Is Tuesday.  Today I am overwhelmed with laundry, and putting away the last of the Christmas decorations.  Someday, I will definitely be one of those old people who just wants to decorate with a small, fake ceramic Christmas tree.  Heck, I want to do it now, but with the new Charlie Brown tree's that I see in the stores. I think a tree like that is adorable.

~~So for today, while I go about my household chores I will reflect upon this question,
"What do I most strive for in life: accomplishment, security, love, power, excitement, knowledge, or something else?"

Let me know what your thoughts are!  I bet no two answers with be alike with this question.  Ummmm!

  1. Again, I travel the path less trampled. I strive for not the components of life, but to experience the true essence of life itself. The seemingly simplistic ability to gaze out the window and find the sun rising on my day ensures me that miracles do exist. At 39 years old, I am consistently building a foundation from which to launch my dreams. I may never finish it. It may crumble again and again. But, I will strive to keep it standing in the barren land I have acquired in this lifetime. And brick by brick, hands ripped and worn from one disaster to the next, I will find the strength to go on. Until the birds no longer grace me with their oh-so-soothing chirping, until the ocean breeze stops curling my hair into tiny tendrils of hope...I will strive for life itself.

  2. I strive mostly for love and accomplishment. I want everyone minute of my life to have meaning. I don't want to have any regrets. I want the people whom I communicate with to know how much they mean to me. I want to continue in the realization that life is short, and I will not look back, but forward in pursuit of my dreams, love and happiness.
